BISCUIT DOUGH PROTEIN PANCAKES WITH BLUEBERRIES

BISCUIT DOUGH PROTEIN PANCAKES WITH BLUEBERRIES

Within a few weeks, our "Cookie Dough" protein powder has gone from being a new addition to one of our most popular flavours ever. We are especially happy about this because our external taste experts have been working on the composition for many months in order to create an authentic, juicy biscuit dough flavour from purely natural ingredients such as oats and vanilla.

Lena's biscuit dough protein pancakes are just one of the many ways you can enjoy the protein powder to the full and with a clear conscience 😃💪

Preparation time: 15 minutes, 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 120g flour
  • 50g Cookie Dough Protein (also on Amazon)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 50g sugar or erythritol
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 190 ml almond milk
  • 50ml water
  • 25g frozen blueberries

Preparation:

In a bowl, mix the flour with Cookie Dough protein powder, baking powder, sugar, salt, flaxseed and cinnamon. By the way, we like to use erythritol (for example from Belano) instead of sugar to minimise the glycaemic reaction and insulin release of the body.

Add the almond milk and water and mix until you have a smooth batter. Fold in the blueberries at the end.

Heat a pan with coconut oil and fry 2 tbsp of batter on each side until golden brown.

Enjoy the finished biscuit dough pancakes with 1 tsp almond paste, a drizzle of maple syrup and more thawed blueberries as a topping.
