FRUITY FITNESS SNACK: GOLDEN PROTEIN BOWL

This Golden Bowl is not based on turmeric but is a fruity-fresh, vegan protein source 😃💪

We love this Golden Protein Bowl at the weekend as a fresh and protein-rich fitness snack in the afternoon, or as breakfast - not least because the fruit is great to prepare. And depending on how you like to play around with the individual ingredients, you can - by increasing the amount of orange juice or almond milk, for example - also turn the bowl into an insanely delicious smoothie to sip on. Each of the two servings in this recipe contains at least 15 to 20g of protein.

 

Preparation

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. You can use fresh or frozen fruit for all the ingredients, although the frozen version gives a fresher bowl with a firmer consistency. More or less ginger gives the bowl a more or less invigorating kick.

Either pour the finished smoothie cream into glasses or enjoy in a bowl - your preference as we did here - with chopped almonds, a drizzle of agave syrup and some cashew puree. 💪
