HIGH PROTEIN HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE BALLS

HIGH PROTEIN HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE BALLS

A perfect treat for that little slump in the afternoon or on the couch in the evening: instead of industrial sweets made with a multitude of often undeclared additives, you can make vegan, chocolaty-creamy hazelnut balls yourself for the whole family in just a few minutes. Without industrial sugar, without industrial goods - but instead equipped with a large portion of vegetable protein and a brilliant nutty taste!

Preparation time: 45 minutes chilling time plus 10 minutes preparation time, for approx. four people.

Ingredients:

  • 50g Vegan Protein Hazelnut (Also via Amazon)
  • 50g roasted hazelnuts
  • 80g canned coconut milk
  • 60g pitted soft dates
  • 50g nut butter
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 40g dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Preparation:

Finely chop the dates and hazelnuts and set aside 1 tbsp of the chopped hazelnuts for later.

Mix the coconut milk, the chopped dates and nuts, the hazelnut protein and the cocoa with a blender and place in the freezer to chill for 20 minutes.

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a water bath. Stir in the remaining chopped hazelnuts.

It's best to form balls from the mixture with damp hands and afterwards you can press a whole hazelnut into the centre of each. It doesn't have to be perfect, it tastes great without being a masterpiece!

Then cover the finished balls with the melted chocolate and chill in the freezer for another 20-30 minutes. Enjoy!
